This is a miniature (2.5 x 3.5″) pastel painting where I added some mysterious elements to a beautiful sunset I saw one summer evening.
Painting minis is one of the joys of my life! It gives me the chance to play with painting on a tiny scale… I can try many variations; different underpaintings; different papers and pastels to get all sorts of different effects. So much fun!
