What a fun beginning…
I painted this while on solo art and writing retreat in January 2024
In wintry Ontario
So it’s probably no wonder that
The underpainting is of bright orange pastels
With added layers of blues to finish it out
It’s 6 x 6″ (as is each and every painting in this challenge)
And it was lots of fun to paint!
