This was the painting I did for an art demo out in Colorado and Winter 2024, just a few days after driving over the Continental Divide at Loveland Pass.
There’s something amazing about being up so high that where the rain falls determines, within a few in., whether a raindrop will end up flowing to the Atlantic Ocean, or the Pacific Ocean.
I felt the rhythms of the earth in these beautiful majestic mountains.
