Description
I’ve been visiting Colorado for 25 years and been very close to Loveland Pass – without ever actually going over the pass itself.
Loveland Pass is on the continental divide. It’s one of the highest places in the Rockies and where, when precipitation falls, it flows two ways: either toward the Atlantic Ocean in the east, or toward the Pacific Ocean in the west.
I’ve never been to this particular part of the continental divide
Despite being so close
For so many years.
Until Winter 2024.
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
The beauty, the majesty of the trees and mountains and wide open spaces.
I tried to capture this feeling here.
I hope you feel it too!
